Oceanfront views were stunning and the beach access was super convenient. Pools were overcrowded, making it difficult to find chairs. Happy hour drinks by the pool were enjoyable but wait times for service were long. Room was clean but some areas showed signs of wear.

Rooms offer beautiful oceanfront views. Check-in felt chaotic and our room wasn’t ready on time. Beach access is super convenient. The parking garage across the street can be tight. The pool area could use some better cleanliness. Happy hour drinks by the pool were a nice touch.

The location is perfect and the beach access is great. Check-in was frustrating and our room wasn’t ready, which was annoying.

The beach is basically your backyard, which is a total win. I loved the indoor pool and the lazy river; kids were in heaven!
The balconies are a bit risky, especially on the first floor.

The room was a disaster; surfaces were grimy, and our sheets were covered in black hair. We waited for housekeeping, but all they did was empty the trash. I ended up cleaning just to feel somewhat comfortable!

The staff was exceptional, consistently going above and beyond. Easy access to the beach is a major plus. Indoor and outdoor pools provide great family fun. The nearby restaurants, like Melt and Fenway Grille, are hidden gems. I encountered minor issues with my room: slow response times and uncomfortable beds. Certain holiday activities fell short, lacking communication. Parking was tight but manageable, thanks to thoughtful staff like Cornelius, who made sure we were taken care of. Despite some setbacks, the level of service, particularly from Kathy Putnam and Melanie, keeps us returning. With clean rooms and solid food options, there's potential for improvement, yet the experience remains enjoyable.

The rooms were spacious with a nice view. Staff helped carry our bags and offered us a welcome drink.
It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it.

we had a mixed experience during our time there. Let's start with the positives , the sea view from our 12th, floor apartment was absolutely stunning. It was a real treat to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean, especially with a cup of coffee from one of the two coffee machines in the full kitchen. The beds were super comfy, and the soundproofing was top, notch, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. We also loved the indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, perfect for unwinding in late December. On the downside, we had a bit of a disappointing encounter at the front desk when we inquired about extending our stay. It felt like we were given conflicting information about room availability, which was frustrating. there were some maintenance issues in the apartment, like paint splatters in the bathroom and old fixtures that could do with an update. The cleanliness of the pools and lazy river left something to be desired, with white residue and rusted vents in plain view. Despite these challenges, the property had all the amenities we needed, and it was generally quiet, which was a plus. it was disappointing to learn that we had to pay extra for an ocean view that we thought was included. The management's handling of this situation was not ideal, and it seemed like a recurring issue for other guests as well. In terms of service, we found the Treetop Lounge a bit underwhelming compared to its advertised panoramic view. The parking situation was tight, and the bed in our room was on the firmer side. While we enjoyed the location and certain amenities, there were clear areas for improvement in terms of communication, maintenance, and cleanliness. It might be worth exploring other options for our next stay in the area.

Friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms made for some bright spots. Kids loved the pools, and the location is excellent for families. The parking situation was frustrating, especially with a baby. A smoky smell in our room was only temporarily masked by air freshener, and noisy neighbors didn’t help. The restaurant experience was disappointing, with poor service and food quality. I appreciated the manager's assistance with a billing mix-up but felt more communication about policies would enhance the stay.

With the beach just a few steps away and a wonderful stretch of sand to enjoy, I loved how easy it was to relax by the ocean, and the indoor and outdoor pools—complete with a lazy river—offered great family fun; additionally, the surrounding area had plenty of restaurants, shops, and even an amusement park within walking distance, creating a perfect walking experience. The room had an ocean view that was breathtaking, but the restaurant atmosphere could use a little work.

The activities were so fun; I particularly enjoyed the Hula Hoop Contests! Staff were top-notch and accommodating. The Easter Brunch was superb!
Oh, the delightful smell of weed in the hallways was just marvelous! .

Avista Resort stands out for its exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff. The three pools and convenient beach access are perfect for families. I loved the nearby restaurants, with Melt's lavender honey ice cream being a must-try. Just be mindful of the room size for families!

The room was beautifully decorated with a retro vibe. The large balcony offered a partial view of the ocean, but the obstructed view from the first-floor room was disappointing. Temperature control struggled; it was uncomfortably hot upon arrival, and only one tiny vent serviced the closed-off bedroom. The bed was comfortable and inviting, aiding in a restful night's sleep once cooled down. Noise levels varied; while generally peaceful, some sounds from the hallway were audible. Amenities, like ample coffee supplies, were a nice touch, but maintenance issues, such as the broken toilet paper holder, detracted from the stay.

Clean room, clean amenities with a lovely balcony offering a partial sea view and convenient access to both indoor and outdoor pools and lazy rivers.
Absolutely nothing.

We went to this sick show at Alabama Theatre, the vibes were insane. Bundling accommodations with tickets was clutch. The fun never stopped , music, videos, non, stop laughs. We were living our best life in Myrtle Beach!
Needed a louder party zone for late, night banging beats! .

Great location, with convenient free parking just across the street. Enjoyed direct beach access, including well, maintained pools, a nice lazy river, and jacuzzis. Loved the beach bar and snack shack for post, beach refreshments. Excellent for families, couples, or friends seeking a relaxing getaway. Adjacent amusement park and vibrant restaurant options added to the overall experience.
Parking across the street felt inconvenient at times and safety concerns arose due to poorly parked cars and late, night noise disturbances. Some minor issues with restaurant billing, but quickly resolved by another staff member.

Right on the beach, 3 pools, 2 lazy rivers, 3 hot tubs, and baby pool. 2 restaurants and balcony ocean view.
Felt cared for, no reason to complain.

we stayed at the avista resort, and we were pleasantly surprised! the staff went above and beyond, especially brandon at the front desk. the restaurant meals were amazing, and the view from our balcony was so relaxing. the spacious room had a small kitchen and a washer/dryer, and the pool staff was friendly and helpful. it's a bit far from the usual attractions, but we found it well-maintained and enjoyed the free concert on thursday night. a great experience overall!
Nothing, all great! 😊

We visited a top, notch entertainment spot, enjoying an evening full of delightful performances, upbeat music, and joyous laughter at ONE The Show in Myrtle Beach, a fantastic experience for families. The experience was truly unforgettable, with vibrant energy and talented performers, making it a must, visit spot for a lively night out in Myrtle Beach.
My wife says that the show could have been more family, oriented.

Our stay at this beachfront resort was truly memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, always putting the guests first. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the resort and the beautiful views from our room. The amenities, including the jacuzzi and outdoor pool, were a hit with our family. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the kitchen facilities in our room, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The free Wi-Fi and on-site car park were also convenient.
The only issue we encountered during our stay was the slow elevators. We often had to wait longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating.

Had an awesome Christmas stay at this hotel! The hot tubs and pools were amazing, and the view of the ocean from the room was breathtaking. Being right by the white sand beaches was a huge plus. Free parking across the street was super convenient, and the beach access from the hotel was a total game, changer. The indoor and outdoor pools, along with the jacuzzis and lazy river, kept the whole family entertained all day.
The check, in and unloading process was a bit of a hassle due to the limited parking spots. Crossing the busy road to get to the guest parking was not ideal, especially with luggage.
